Nebraska Advocacy Services, Inc. (NAS), The Center for Disability Rights, Law and Advocacy, has an active program of legislative and public policy advocacy. We provide analysis and develop positions on many key public policy issues affecting people with disabilities. Our positions on State legislation are arrived at through an extensive process of review and analysis by NAS Advisory Councils and the NAS Public Policy Committee. You can access information regarding the status of disability related State legislation by using the Legislative Updates link. NAS develops testimony on bills that have been designated as high priority. You can obtain copies of our testimony presented at the legislative hearing through the NAS Testimony link.
