Priority Area 1: Advocacy and Value-Based Education
Goal: Provide meaningful advocacy and value-based training opportunities to people with disabilities, families, professionals, providers, policy makers and advocates.
Objective 1.1: Provide one (1) value-based educational opportunity for thirty (30) people and family members of people with developmental disabilities who receive supports and services in community-based and institutional settings.
Objective 1.2: In collaboration with the Consumer Inclusion and Recovery Coalition (CIRC) conduct one (1) peer/self-advocacy education session for up to twelve (12) participants in each of the six Behavioral Health Regions.
